Happy Holidays!

Well, it has been a very busy couple of weeks and I am happy to say that I actually just had 4 days off (a Festivus miracle!). Christmas and Hanukkah were both good (my family celebrates both) and Santa brought me a new camera, which I really needed since my last once died about a month ago. As soon as I get it charged, I'll take some photos of the fun calendar I got through the calendar swap!

This past week, while searching on Etsy, I discovered a great little shop called Sarah Seven. They have lots of cute dresses and almost all of them are custom made to order. Here are a couple of my faves:

This week's addictions . . .

Happy Monday! As always, I started the week off exhausted, but I just took a two hour nap so I am feeling quite refreshed. Here's what I've been obsessing over in the last week:

1. The Liberty dress from Prairie Underground. I was eyeing this dress all weekend. It is so delicate and feminine. Now only if I could afford it . . .
2. As I was searching through Etsy this week, which I always spend hours doing, I discovered a new shop: Heirloom. I am a sucker for handmade clothing and her stuff is unique and priced quite nicely. Here are some of my faves from her shop:

3. So, one of my personal additions has always been teeth. I was actually thinking about becoming a dentist until I realized how difficult organic chemistry is. However, I still love going to the dentist and I am constantly encouraging people to floss. So when I discovered this silver molar necklace from ChainedChainedChained, I fell in love. I immediately sent my mom a link to the necklace in hopes that I might get it for Christmas and she said that when she opened the link she could not stop laughing. I guess some people don't share my love of dental hygiene.

Addition: Left On Houston

Well, another weekend is over and it was pretty cold today(and it drizzled which depressed me because my car was actually clean). Winter is short is Vegas, but long enough to wear winter clothes for a couple of months. Recently, I have fallen in love with sweaters and sweater dresses from Left on Houston. They are a bit too pricey for me, but they are bound to have a sale someday! Or maybe Santa will be feeling generous this year. I'm in love with these:

Regina Lafay

Last night I went to First Friday and acquired some art from my friend Regina Lafay. She's an amazing artist! She's got a lot of dark and twisted pieces that completely fascinate me. Here are a couple of my faves:

N.E.E.T. Magazine

If you have not yet read N.E.E.T. Magazine, you should check it out! Issue 13 is online now and only takes a couple of seconds to download. It has all sorts of great info about indie designers, d.i.y. and vintage fashion. You can also download the back issues online. I just love it!

In other news, happy birthday to my best friend Jennie! A couple week's ago we decided that we wanted to watch the original Beverly Hills 90210 from the beginning. We are currently 8 episodes in and I would just like to say that I love Luke Perry circa 1990, a.k.a. Dylan McKay. Hot damn!

This week's addictions . . .

It is Monday again and I had a wonderful weekend of eating, relaxing and attempting to avoid all the awesome Black Friday sales. (I did better than I expected actually). Of course, I did find some things to obsess over . . .

1. Church & State's Fall Collection. If you haven't checked out this clothing line, you should check it out NOW.

Makool Loves You at Indie Fashion Addict 2. Ketchup Coat from Makool Loves You. I just bought this coat and not only is it adorable but it is super cozy. Makool has lots of other great stuff too. Check her out here and here.

Quicksilver at Indie Fashion Addict 3. Quiksilver dresses. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon the dresses that Quiksilver has for sale. My two favorites: the Audrey and the Marianne.
