Sales Galore!

Many clothing designers are currently teasing me with pictures of their adorable spring collections which are not yet on sale. There is a silver lining to all this though: Tons of sales on winter collections! A few of my favorite clothing lines are having sales and if you hurry you may be able to find some great deals in your size:

1. Built by Wendy. I discovered her stuff a couple years ago and often can't afford it, but right now she has almost her entire winter collection on sale. My favorite sale item: the Barbed Heart Scallop top.

2. Alex & Chloe. They are holding a "Music Sounds Better With You" sale which features music-inspired merchandise including clothing and jewelry for men and women. Almost all of the clothing is unisex sizing. The sale goes through January 31. (I also have a secret crush on their adorable male model. )

3. Gentle Fawn. If I didn't already own practically everything I want from the line, I would have purchased something. Seriously, I am addicted to Gentle Fawn.
4. Makool Loves You. Thanks to my favorite Greedy Girl Caroline, I found out that Makool Loves You is offering 20% off non-sale items just by entering the promo code love at checkout. 5. Blissliving Home. They sell beautiful modern bedding, pillows, throws, candles and other home accessories. I love their stuff but will ususally only purchase it if it is on sale, since it can be pricey.

Happy Shopping!

This week's additions . . .

It has been quite a week! I got promoted at my job which has put a smile on my face at least for a little while. In my little spare time this week, here's a few items that I've become addicted to:

1. The Silence & Noise Tulip dress from Urban Outfitters. My catalog came in the mail on Saturday and right in the front was this adorable little dress. I'm thinking that a trip to the store in the next week or two is in order.
2. The Pronto Pocket dress from Makool Loves You. This dress has been up on her site for a while and I have yet to write about it. I look at it every week and imagine it is mine.
3. My list just doesn't feel complete without something from Etsy. Tippy Thai is a shop that I discovered about a week ago. She makes great purses, mostly with hemp and cotton and sells them at great prices. I am big fan of purses, so settling on one favorite from this shop was difficult for me. Here are a few that caught my eye:

Lesson of the week: In some people's minds, "Can I use your bathroom?" means, "Please let me come in and sleep with you." So, if it is the middle of the night and you don't want to have sex with the person who has the bathroom that you so desperately need to use, just hold it until you get home. Believe me, it's better that way.

This week's additions . . .

Just a few things I've been eyeing this week:

1. These adorable Chinese Laundry boots. It is only cold in Vegas for a few short months every year which is unfortunate for my addition to boots. These boots caught my eye and I immediately fell in love with them. They had to be mine, they just had to be.

2. This top by Treehouse28. I found this shop on Etsy, and all her stuff is custom made and adorable. I am going to order something as soon as I figure out my measurements (I've never been good at properly measuring myself).

3. These personalized robot notecards from Gedutis Designs. I have loved robots since I was in middle school, so naturally when I saw these I fell in love. They even come with matching mailing labels. I mean really, what more can you ask for?

If only I could afford . . .

Alice + Olivia dresses. They are fun and flirty. I have gotten really into wearing more dresses lately and I like to pretend that I can afford these lovely little things and that I have lots of fancy cocktail parties to wear them to. Here a couple more that caught my eye:

On another note, happy New Year to all of you out there! I am optimistic that 2009 has amazing things in store for me. One of my resolutions is to blog more. It is always tough for me to find time for all the things I want to do, especially while working in the entertainment industry, but I am going to make more of an effort in 2009. With that being said, I am going to try and get some sleep so I don't start out another week exhausted. Good night!
