Valentine's Couture

On February 12, my friend Susan of Altered Nation Designs hosted her third couture community challenge fashion show along with Jennifer of Flockflockflock. The show featured many local Las Vegas designers, including Susan, Jennifer and my friends Charlie and Jenna, who were all challenged to create unique outfits using real Valentine’s cards, Valentine’s candies and other Valentine’s decorations. The event included a raffle and benefitted the Children's Heart Foundation of Nevada. I was lucky enough to be a part of this event, helping with the PR and gathering raffle prizes. It was a huge success and a ton of fun! Take a look at some of the amazing outfits that were created:

Celeb Style Sunday: Oscars Edition

Tonight I got together with some friends to watch the Oscars, as we do every year. James Franco and Anne Hathaway were quite a disappointment as co-hosts and the awards were pretty predictable. In fact, I think the only thing that kept it interesting was the fashion. Here are a couple of my favorite looks of the evening:

Celeb Style Sunday: Avril Lavigne

I've always thought that Avril Lavigne is adorable. She's seen here at the Brit Awards showing off her signature punk rock look. The dress is vintage Julien Macdonald (love him!) worn with black nails, smoky eyes and colorful hair streaks (I like the red, but I'm not too fond of the green).
