Celeb Style Sunday: Shenae Grimes

My best friend Jennie came to visit this weekend and we continued on with our tradition of watching old episodes of 90210. Meanwhile, my one truly shameful addiction is watching the new 90210. It's kind of like a bad car accident - it's awful, but you can't look away. Shenae Grimes (the new Brenda) attended the 32nd Annual College Television Awards this week (when did we get SO many awards shows?) and I'm not sure what she was thinking when she put on this dress. The sleeves look like they came from a shawl that my grandmother would wear and Shenae does not have enough, errr, shape to fill out this dress. Yikes!

Stop Staring!

I really enjoy vintage-inspired dresses when they are done right and I have to say that Stop Staring! really has this genre pegged. I discovered Stop Staring! four or five years ago, but the line has been around for 10 years with designer Alicia Estrada at the helm. The line has grown considerably, especially with the retro look being so popular, and is now sold in tons of boutiques as well as online. Although they sell separates, dresses are really their forte - cocktail dresses, rockabilly dresses, plus size dresses and of course, little black dresses. Take a look:
